What is IPL

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is annual 20-20 cricket tournament which is biggest sport event of India.
Though it is Indian Premier League still this is most waited and most watched Twenty 20 tournament across the world for cricket Fans. IPL organized by the IPL Governing Council, under the the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). So here in this article we are seeing the IPL Winners List 2008-2019.

IPL first started in year 2008 and its been consistent organised every year In which eight teams tooks participate in it. The First IPL season was won by Rajasthan Royals. Last season won by Mumbai Indians. Its been twelve seasons so far of the IPL tournament. The IPL consist of eight team playing every other team twice in a home-and-away, double round-robin format. For the Huge amount of money and highly decorated Trophy for the winner.

IPL season 2008 Final was played between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. Shane Warne was leading Rajasthan Royals also the coach for rojasthan royal and Chennai Super Kings by the M.S. Dhoni. Rajasthan Royals defeated the Chennai Super Kings by 3 wickets chasing of target of 163/5 in 20. Yusuf Pathan inning help RR to won the trophy made him as man of the match.
Shane Watson from Rajasthan Royals received man of the tournament award for his outstanding all round performance.

IPL season 2009 Final was played between Deccan Chargers and Royals Challengers Bangalore.
Adam Gilchrist was leading rojasthan royal and Royals Challengers Bangalore by the Anil Kumble.
Deccan Chargers who were at the bottom of the table in 2008, but stiil somehow
able to won the tournament 2009 under the captaincy of Adam Gilchrist.
On the night of the finals, Deccan Chargers scored 143 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20
But Royals Challengers Bangalore able to make it only 137-9 (20 Ov)
and RCB failed to chase the target by 6 runs at Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa.

IPL Winner 2010: Chennai Super Kings

IPL season 2010 Final was played between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
M.S. Dhoni was leading Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians by the Sachin Tendulkar.
This season was won by the Chennai Super Kings, who defeated the Mumbai Indians in the final played at Mumbai.
On the night of the finals,Chennai Super Kings scored Total 168 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20.
And MUmbai Indian managed to make only 146 run for the loss of 9 wkts in 20 Oevrs.
MS Dhoni finally lifted the trophy after missing it in the first season of IPL.

IPL Winner 2011: Chennai Super Kings

This IPL season 2011 Final was played between Chennai Super Kings and Royals Challengers Bangalore.
M.S. Dhoni was leading Chennai Super Kings and Royals Challengers Bangalore by the Daniel Vettori .
The tournament was won by the Chennai Super Kings for the second successive season
defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 58 runs in the final in Chennai.
Chennai Super Kings set the huge target of 205 run loss 5 wkts in 20 Ov, With Murli Vijay best knock of 95 run.
And the Royal Challengers Bangalore Innings end at 147 run loss of 8 wkt for 20 over.
And Channai Super Kings become was the first team of IPL to defend its IPL champions.

Final of 2012 IPL season was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings.
Gautam Gambhir was leading Kolkata Knight Riders and M.S. Dhoni was leading Chennai Super Kings.
Kolkata Knight Riders were managed to become winning team, beating defending champions Chennai Super Kings by five wickets.
CSK set up the huge total of 190 for loss 3 wkts in 20 Ov with help of Michael Hussey and suresh Raina knocks.
But still KKR managed to croos the huge total with 192 in 19.4 over for the loss of 5 wickets, with the help of brilliant knocks by
Kallis and M Bisla.

MI 2013

2013 IPL season final was played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
Rohit Sharma was leading Mumbai Indians and M.S. Dhoni was leading Chennai Super Kings.
Mumbai Indians managed to won the tournament for the first time, defeating Chennai Super Kings in the final by 23 runs.
Munabi Indian managed to make some competative score of 148 for the loss 9 wkts in 20 Over with help of Pollard knock(60 run).
Despite of good batteing lineup CSK failed to chase the target and innings end at the Total of 125 for loss of 9 wkts in 20 Ov.

Gautam Gambhir was leading Kolkata Knight Riders and George Bailey was leading Kings XI Punjab.
Kolkata Knight Riders become the second team to won the IPL trophy more than once.
Kings Eleven(XI) Punjab set the huge Total 199 runs for loss of 4 wkts in 20 Over.

2015 IPL season final was played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
Rohit Sharma was leading Mumbai Indians and M.S. Dhoni was leading Chennai Super Kings.
Mumbai Indians became the third team after CSK and KKR to win the title more than once.
Again, the apt balancing of the Mumbai Indians helped them win the trophy. Simmons, Rohit Sharma,
Ambati Rayadu and Kieron Pollard carried the batting unit. The bowling department was led by Slinga Malinga.

2016 IPL season final was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
David warner was leading Sunrisers Hyderabad and Virat Kohli was leading Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad team managed to win the final against Royal Challengers Bangalore by just 8 runs.
David Warner masterfully crafted the team journey through the season as a captain.
But the season was more about the Virat Kohli – Ab de Villiers partnership in almost all the RCB matches.
Virat scored 4 centuries and 7 half-centuries in 16 innings he played.

2017 IPL season final was played between MUmbai indian and Rising Pune Supergiants.
David warner was leading Sunrisers Hyderabad and Virat Kohli was leading Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Mumbai Indians became the 1st team in IPL history to win the title more than two times.
They first win was in 2013 and the second in 2015. The victory margin of Mumbai Indians
against the Rising Pune Supergiants in the final was just one run. Rohit Sharma,
as the captain of Mumbai Indians, was exceptional.

2018 IPL season final was played between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Chennai Super Kings become the second team to win more than two trophies of IPL.
Veterans Ambati Rayadu and Shane Watson were the backbones of the batting unit.
Dhoni, as usual, provided best finishes in most of the games.
CSK’s bowling unit was lucky to get inputs from MS Dhoni,
the captain and Dwanye Bravo, who led the bowling attack for CSK.

IPL Winner 2019: Mumbai Indians

MI 19

2019 IPL season final was played between Mumbai Indian and Chennai Super Kings. Mumbai Indians defeated the Chennai Super Kings by 1 run to win the final for their fourth title. The final of the IPL 2019 between two giant. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings met again in the finals. The final went down to the last bowl.
Thus, Mumbai Indians became the champions for a record 4th time.
