Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are the web browsers that are making headlines in the modern world and each one of them trying to undo the other. Both of them are making releases aimed at enhancing services for the users. Chrome is taking advantage of Goggles automatic background update to unleash the new chrome 24 features to the public. Mozilla Firefox on the other hand, has gone public by releasing Firefox 18 which has features that are interesting.
Chrome has several stable releases, a DEV (Developer) build, a BETA release, and a Canary build which is similar to the Developer version. To improve stability, Chrome added a new feature that allows each browsing tab to run its own process without disturbing the overall performance.
Because this is a full featured browser, it comes with diverse functions such as pop-up blocking design, simple privacy controls that can be used by anyone, tab-browsing capability, and even integrated Google search feature. One of its most attractive features is its “Do Not Track” feature which is perfect if users want privacy when browsing. In addition, it also has a “Track Me” and “Neutral” settings users can use depending on their preference.
What’s your Verdict?
It is not therefore easier to say with certainty that either Firefox or Chrome is on top since everything is dependent on the user and their preferences. There are those who believe chrome is cleaner in design and has a terrific speed with instant update capability. On the other hand, there are some users who still insist that Firefox is the most flexible search engines that can easily be customized and enjoyed by the user. So whatever is your verdict, it’s better to use something that you find easier to use.
